Who are we?
Genesis
When you are at sea, or in the mountains, in the middle of nature, you hope to see animals, plants, and you say to yourself that if you had the opportunity it would be great to learn and understand biodiversity . This is how the idea came, at sea on a sailboat, to make a scientific knowledge base available to the general public by relying on the possibilities of digital technology and the immense network of existing web and application platforms. SeeOnSea was created on this observation in 2021 by two engineers passionate about nature and digital.
We wanted to commit to protecting biodiversity and the environment by making our skills available. So we imagined one global device which would stimulate the professional world and reach citizens around the world.
How? – By using all the channels at our disposal, starting with those of tourism.

SeeOnSeaEntreprise was born from this observation.
- SeeOnSeaVIEW for professionals tourism
- SeeOnSeaAPI for software publishers
- SeeOnSeaPACK our toolbox for scientists

Ambition
This is how the idea came, at sea on a sailboat, to make a scientific knowledge base available to the general public by relying on the possibilities of digital technology and the immense network of existing web and application platforms.
But in 2021, SeeOnSea started its activity in Belize and the Dominican Republic, before refocusing on France.
For this reason, and because the system is both global and multilingual, our ambition is to quickly make our tools available to professionals in all countries.
